and in-house as part of the Curtis Banks Group.
Regardless of who works on your matter, they will be
supervised by Gemma Millard, Director and Head of Legal Practice.
Gemma Millard – Solicitor and Director
Gemma is Head of Legal practice at Rivergate and has in excess of 12 years experience as a Solicitor, working with SIPP and SSAS clients for the majority of her career.
Gemma qualified as a Solicitor in 2008, gaining her law degree and Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice with Distinction from the University of the West of England in Bristol. She specialises in providing advice around Commercial Property transactions generally and within both SIPPs and SSASs environments.
Gemma is also General Counsel for the Curtis Banks Group.
Anastasia has worked in legal practice for nearly 8 years. She became a Chartered Legal Executive in 2018 and took specialism in Commercial Property. She completed her studies for her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice to covert her CILEX qualification to become a Solicitor.
She is particularly skilled at dealing with complex shared ownership matters.
Laura worked as a Legal Executive for 6 years in the
Real Estate department in a large national law firm before qualifying as a
Solicitor in 2018. During this time Laura specialised in landlord and tenant
work, but acted on a wide range of commercial property matters including
lending matters, large scale multi-property investments, purchases of
development land, renewable energy matters, and auction sales.
Prior to qualifying as a legal executive Laura worked in the Financial Services sector and brings her experience of this sector to her role with the firm.
Karling qualified as a solicitor in October 2019. Her main area of expertise is Commercial Property, dealing with sales and acquisitions of leasehold and freehold properties, property finance and re-finance, and landlord and tenant work. In addition to her Commercial Property experience, Karling has worked in the legal sector for over 7 years in various practice areas including Corporate, Residential Property and Dispute Resolution.
Louise graduated with a qualifying Law Degree in 2018. She subsequently spent 2 years working in financial services before joining the firm in 2020. Louise is an aspiring solicitor and is currently studying her Legal Practice Course part-time.
Claire has worked in the financial services sector for over 8 years, the majority of this time she has been heavily involved in managing commercial property transactions within self invested personal pensions. She previously completed a Level 6 Specialist Commercial Property Paralegal qualification and brings this experience to her role within the firm.
